A Night on the Town tonight in Ahmet's House! 7PM

It's Mother's Day 2013 so while Tony is off today and busy taking the mother of his children out on the town...why not kick it into high style and live it up! We will be playing selections from "The Ertegun's New York! Cabaret music from the 1940's to '50s...its still Ahmet's kinda music! We will be back next week with another live show! Enjoy.

Our Sunday night lineup is all filled in tonight...first at 7PM, Tony takes us through the catalog of Atlantic Records in "Ahmet's House", honoring one of music's greatest. Then at 8PM Baruch Zeichner tells us " Tonight's Paradigms is very exciting! First guest is Nance Klehm who is a radical ecologist from Chicago. She is really amazing, you'll be glad if you listen to what she has to say. Second guest tonight is Moonlight Davis, a singer,performer and inspiring person." Sounds great Baruch! Then 9:30 and Nina Livellara Koch brings in wine and song on The Sunday Night Crush. Got all that...phew, just tune in starting at 7 and we'll handle the rest! Thanks!

A great week ahead at WBKM! Tonight we kick it off with Ahmet's House at 7pm, celebrating the great music of Atlantic Records. I'll trace some of the best known phrases in blues rock tonight and see where they lead.

First, at 7PM it's Tony's show "Ahmet's House", honoring the great music of Atlantic Records. 8PM and it's "Paradigms", featuring a story about Earth Walk Vermont. Our Sunday night program "Ahmet's House" showcases the great legacy of Atlantic Records jazz artists, in celebration of the announcement that the Turkish Ambassador to the US will be bringing a series of jazz greats to the Embassy in Washington DC, just as Ahmet and his brother Neshui did when their father was the Turkish Ambassador. Now that's connecting people thru music!
